Carrie has spent most of her career with one employer, Joe Dumars Fieldhouse, where she managed the accounting team for 20 years. Along with her role as Accounting Manager, she also served as the Information Technology Director at the Fieldhouse. Carrie graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and, upon graduation, started a rental business with her husband, Garney. She has also worked as a freelance bookkeeper, assisting small businesses in improving their bottom line.
In the summer, you’ll find Carrie following her favorite team, the Detroit Tigers, either at Comerica Park or on the road at a rival city (and even Florida for Spring Training). Carrie enjoys competitive bowling and traveling to warmer states for vacation in the winter months. She has three rescue dogs, Claire, Finn, and Waylon (all Labrador mixes), and proudly calls herself “dog mom”.
