TechTown’s Retail Boot Camp is an intensive, hands-on, 11-week program that prepares serious entrepreneurs for the opening of their brick-and-mortar establishments in Detroit. For years, TechTown has helped RBC graduates open competitive retail businesses in a fast-changing environment. On June 22, 2021, participants, judges and viewers gathered virtually to celebrate the hustle and hard work of 14 Retail Boot Camp (RBC) graduates and the program’s 11th cohort showcase.
Five standouts each won a $5,000 Kickstart Award, and one People’s Choice Awardee was chosen during the live event to receive $1,000.
