And the winner is… American Advantage Home Healthcare!

The votes are in, and the inaugural Start Studio MVP People’s Choice Award Demo Day winner is American Advantage Home Healthcare. They received a prize of $1,500 to further develop their business and product EyeCare for Detroit.

Start Studio MVP is a 6-week program designed for people who have validated their tech startups with potential customers and are ready to create revenue-generating early prototypes (also known as minimum viable products, or MVPs). The People’s Choice Award Demo Day voting took place virtually Feb. 24 through Mars 4.

The winter 2022 Start Studio MVP cohort included:

• American Advantage Home Healthcare/EyeCare for Detroit: A mobile application that allows adult children and caregivers to schedule telehealth eye appointment visits and physical visits for homebound elderly patients
• Indigo Packaging & Consulting/True Fleet: A packaging company dedicated to helping packaging engineers, supply chain professionals and manufacturing personnel in the auto industry
• Mj Pilot: Bringing transparency to the cannabis supply chain, making it easier to find professionals in the space who align with the brand and mission
• On Arrival: A company that sells personalized travel experiences for people who like to go on trips, not plan them
